I was just over at girltalk checking out their website for the first time. So far, what I’ve read I’ve loved. They are moms who are on the right track. It was while I was reading their profile stuff that I was freed. Freed from maybe what you would consider a very silly thing.I am NOT a cardmaker/scrapbooker/stamper!!! That’s just the way it is folks. I have felt bad because I didn’t have ‘a hobby’. I really don’t have time for a hobby though, especially one I don’t enjoy. I started thinking a lot lately about what my interests are. Not my sister’s or friends interests, but mine. I really would be interested in Stampin up a storm, if I was good at it. But each time I sit down with my supplies it’s just a frustration. I enjoy buying them much more. One of my many faults, I do love to buy. So now that I’ve spent a small fortune on my Stampin Up supplies I am going to try to get some money back out of them. I will be posting an album of my stuff and if anyone is interested in buying anything off of me you can let me know.Just so you know, my interests are my family and homemaking, reading, and Frenchy’s shopping (who knew?!), and blogging of course. I really don’t have time to do anything else. Life is busy and I’m okay with that.If I was to spend money on crafty stuff, I would rather learn to make a quilt, or sew clothes for Katie. I know she’s going to be tall and it will be hard to find clothes for her. Actually it’s hard to find a skirt that will come to her knees now with how the styles are going.I would like to find time to spend making gardens beautiful around my new house. I’ll have to learn how not to kill plants first so I have a chance at that.There are many things that I would like to do and Stampin stuff just doesn’t fit in my top 10 choices. I could just stand over Charmin’s shoulder and copy everything she does, but where’s the fun in that???So world, I am not a scrapbooker. I am free!!!
